Prior to Recrylic, Wollenberg worked as Industrial Design Engineer for Visual Options, a Tacoma-based provider of retail merchandising fixtures and branded elements.  He brings hands-on experience in creating innovative retail displays, fixtures and other custom products, working across multiple materials including acrylic and other plastics, wood, metal, fabric and print substrates.

“Skye brings a wide variety of skill sets, industry experience and solution expertise,” said Recrylic President Bill McNeely, Jr.  “Our clients value having subject matter experts like Skye as their primary point of contact – as our team can provide rapid answers to the toughest design and fabrication questions.”

While Wollenberg has served multiple industries, he specializes in working with consumer technology brands and wireless carriers, meeting their needs for innovative, sustainable, cost-effective solutions.  Wollenberg says he was drawn to Recrylic by its reputation as the country’s top creator of sustainable retail displays.

“I’m truly excited by the opportunity to join the Recrylic team,” said Wollenberg.  “My goal is to help clients bring their design ideas to life across whatever medium they need.  Recrylic is one of the few companies with the size and skillset to tackle their biggest challenges.”

A graduate of the Art Institute of Seattle with a degree in Industrial Design Technology, Wollenberg holds certifications in Master Cam and SolidWorks – along with extensive experience with Sketchup, Freeform and other design technologies.  Previously based in the Seattle area, Wollenberg is moving to the Twin Cities and will work from Recrylic’s Minneapolis headquarters.
